I had a very good day today.

I went to the doctor's office in the morning to get the staples removed.

Then I had an honest conversation with him about how I'm doing and he gave me permission to drive;
earlier than expected and welcome news.

My wife hated having to drive my ass around - I'm not a very good passenger.
Great news!

I'm glad you have a date set! Wishing you a smooth surgery and a speedy recovery. It's great that your first one went well; hoping for the same success this time.

Hi Matt, how are you travelling? Hope all is well. Are you pleased with the results compared pre & post surgery, or is it still a little early to tell?

Cheers mate, J

Doing well, thanks for asking.

Not using the pain meds.

As long as a handrail is available, I can go up and down stairs "normally".

Hopefully, incision will be healed enough in a few days to start kneeling exercises.

Thanks Matt, sounds like you are well and truly on the mend. I'm sure it will all come good in time. I've generally heard that knee replacements are a god send to those who need this surgery. All the best J

It’s incredible how fast you are getting back to normal Matt.
I know it must be scary having these kinds of operations done
because you worry you won’t get back to normal right? But
it sounds like you are really doing well. And that is terrific
sir, and as you can probably imagine makes all of us here
very happy ! :) :excited:

It’s perfect timing with summer almost here too. 8-)

Keep feeling bionic and thank you for the great news !!!
