Re: Man's best friend
For 8 years, I told the kids they couldn't get a dog. Then one day I was out walking and came across this guy tied up in front of a house beside a sign "Dog for sale". I like to think I have a steely resolve, but one look at those eyes and I gave in ... http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g1/jake_just...

Crown is on the case back. D-ring flips up and you adjust it with that.SCM64 wrote:Nice. How do you set the time with no crown. I must have missed that.

I like it.
The 007 branding is pretty subtle. I didn't even notice it right away.
If it was red, that might be a different story.
I would like to see some wrist shots. I don't think it's as "in-your-face" as the close-up shot makes it look.

...If my son was playing in the Masters and was heard using profanity on TV I would walk out in the fairway and put my foot in his ass.......and if he went on TV and made an ass of himself by making a "decision"..... This is an easy one for me. If i were to walk away from all my other watches with just one,it would be my Speedmaster....i waited over 40 years for this watch and its staying with me. I would miss my Doxa 750T and would wonder about all the other watches i want to own but i would be more than happy...

Are the custom dials more than $4000?matt.wu wrote:Kobold does sell custom dials.
Just be prepared to shell out.
If not, it would be a bargain to buy the WCT and a custom dial from Kobold.

I never really looked at the Kobolds much. I just checked out their website now...
Wow! Prices are about twice what I expected.
Not bad looking watches, but for those prices there are a whole lot of other options.

After wearing this beast everyday for a full week straight, I've come to the conclusion that it is just too big for me. Oh well. I guess I don't need to justify flipping watches when I'm talking to this crowd :raised: On the plus side. My TSAR used to feel kinda big and chunky, but in comparison it ...
