Re: 40mm Panerai Luminor
44mm is the one you want. The lugs drape the wrist nicely.
I think my 560 wears better than my 42mm 683 submersible tbh.

Don't suppose anyone knows if that is a new bracelet, or still the same one from the sbbn33?

Re: Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical on Bracelet
They have had this bracelet as an option for years I thought? Somehow I purchased an old hand cranked with date from an AD with the same bracelet in 2014ish. I think it was off one of the auto models. My pet peeve with it was how the end links extend past the lugs just a little bit.

Re: Technical Question
sounds magnetized. which should have been checked before any regulation was attempted. I think you are spot on. Just got another email, has gone off its regulated -3min already and is now 10min out after one day. Hopefully the first watch maker hasn't messed up anything else. did he ever say if it ...

Re: New arrival, Scuba dude.
Looks great Snootydog. Love that configuration and it rocks on the mesh. Are these stainless cases or coated brass? Agree that the back and forward between 9pm and 3am to set the date can be a bit tedious... Makes me want to dig out my old komandirskie, haven't seen it for a few years but I'm sure i...

Re: Technical Question
Just to clarify, my bad. He let me know re the time keeping issue on arrival. I agreed to have his watch maker assess what the issue was and provide a quote for rectification before we agreed what to do next. In hindsight, possibly not the best move. Something like this happened to me once, only I ...

Re: Technical Question
Thanks all, I've flicked him a link to this thread and asked about the magnetization.
From his email it sounded like the watchmaker just did the regulation and nothing else. Hopefully he hasn't stuffed up the watch doing it without demagnetising :s

Re: Technical Question
Thanks Carlo, I've asked him for some more detail of what the watch maker said, the quote for an overhaul, and also details of which watch maker it was. The buyer was in Minnesota, so the temperature thing is possible - going from a summery 40 degrees C in Perth Australia to whatever it is in winter...

Technical Question
I was hoping for some technical advice. I recently sold my UTS Commander with a unitas movement. At the time of sale it was running consistently at -5 to 15s/ day. On arrival with the buyer he advised that it was running consistently +15min/day. He said he took it to his watch maker who has regulate...

I had the basic hand cranker for a while. I enjoyed the watch. Felt just like a vintage dress watch. The dial design was perfect as well.

Suggestions for 24mm Rubber Strap to suit Ennebi
Gday, I was looking for some suggestions for a good quality 24mm rubber strap for my Ennebis. I was thinking about this one : https://www.gnomonwatches.com/products/ref-317-black-heavy-duty-rubber-strap-22mm-24mm?variant=28420306763840 But am thinking that a pam submersible style one may suit the fo...
