OK, serious question… Do they stretch much when wet?
As long as it isn’t cold outside.
Actually second part was serious question.
Shrinkage is no joke.

Apple does a great job in the fine detailing on that case. Looks like a beast though…. Assume it is at least light weight?

Re: Add some color they said....

Question, is that Omega an LE? no, not limited, its regular production. Like everything else in the world it's slow to arrive in OB's and AD's. Not a lot of inventory right now for the green ones. I just ordered one at my AD. All of the ones received to date were spoken for pre-order, but I get the...

That Omega 😍😍😍
I ordered one purely off of one of Mike’s photos. Was going to put the $$ towards the Pelagos 39 and realized life is too short to not have more fun in your watches.

Great variety Mike. :salute:

Re: Weiss First Dive Watch.

Pretty shocked that Cameron would handle that prototype and think, "Yep, that's a $3k watch" given the watches he has handled and the places he has worked. I just can't get past the bezel engraving.... if he could fix that it would go a long way. And his lume shot isn't doing him any favors either. ...

Re: Apple made a dive watch?

I were selling $1500 digital watches based on some pseudo military valor and called them Phoenix Ashes or whatever I’d be buying a box of Depends when I saw Ultra announcement hahaha so true  I run with a Garmin Instinct and feel like I need to break out the user manual to do all but the most...

Apple made a dive watch?

Thought this was appropriate for the forum..... New Apple Watch Ultra. The only smart watch that I own is a Garmin Instinct for running, but this is interesting. 49mm titanium case 60 hour power reserve Twice as bright as previous versions Crown protector EN certified for diving and includes an inte...

Re: Finally!!!!!!

Pelagos was its own watch now it’s just looks like if you couldn’t buy the Submariner we have this for you for 1/2 the price That’s exactly how I see it but I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad thing. Honestly Rolex prices are really steep and they keep trending more and more towards “luxury” VS “t...

Re: Monta Preorder for the new Skyquest!

Monta is killing it. What really pisses me off is that Monta can turn out a sub 12mm thick GMT with a rotating bezel and Grand Seiko can’t get theirs below 14mm. It looks like they finally figured out how to straighten the GMT hand. I thought the old brushed angled one was cool. The dial markers on ...

Re: Got some sobering news from Sinn today

Assume this is Sinn Germany and not RGM? I have a U50 into RGM for warrantee work and they said 6-8 weeks from whenever Watchbuys confirms it is covered. They made it clear than this was the expedited warranty timeline and non warranty repairs take much longer. Thankfully I have my U50 Pro so this i...

Nice mini review Brice.
Reminds me of the first time I held an EZM1… I was like wth is this kids toy… then I ended up loving it.
But it also has the tall hamburger case.
The Tudor weighs just a little more than a G-Shock so I can see how it would feel cheap to some.

Re: Finally!!!!!!

How sunburst-y was the dial in real life? So tough to tell in jewelry store lights, but I thought it was fine. Bezel does remind me of the Seiko SPB143 which I have always loved. Dial sunburst was super subtle. You can see in that photo that my Speedy also looks way blingier under those lights than...

Tried one on and placed an order this morning. Wears just a tad larger than my BB58 due to the beefier bezel. Looks great in person. Photo with my Speedy for comparison.

Hard to judge in those shots since it's covered in plastic.
Watches always look very different under the super bright halogen lights on a jewelry counter.

Re: Finally!!!!!!

I’d like to know the weight. I keep forgetting about Ti, I’m a sucker for Ti. The BB58 is somewhere between 130 and 140 grams depending on bracelet links. Reportedly the Pelagos 39 is somewhere between 100 and 110 grams. This guy has some nice shots: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3C4Z_QIMLI

Re: Finally!!!!!!

^ that picture does it for me. It’s not a Pelagos lol. Good looking watch but the bezel and dial, to me, are reminiscent of Seiko divers. +1 looks like that grey dial 62mas remake spb143 something. Re: Finally!!!!!!

This all reminds me how much I hate dealing with Rolex/Tudor AD's. Reached out to mine to reserve one and they want me to drive across town (2 hrs round trip) to even discuss it with their "Tudor Specialist". What bullshit. Just want to buy a watch. Seiko/Omega dealers actually want to sell them to ...
