Re: Shogun vs Pelagos

I've had both. The Shogun didn't stay long; sorry to say I found it felt a bit 'cheap' (not the solidity or quality feel of the Pelagos) I know it's in no way poor quality, but that's how it felt to me and I didn't like the polished parts either. When compared to the Pelagos, which is more understat...

Re: New arrival - Sinn T2

Thanks chaps  I must admit, I'm lovin' it and have put my Pelagos up for sale! Not that the T2 is replacing the Pelagos, it's just that when I bought the Pelagos, the plan was it would be my 'one' watch. I've decided though that two works better for me: the T2 and a Speedy FOIS, plus a co...

Congrats! I’m a Sinn fan and I just can’t warm up to those hands.
I wasn't sure how I'd like the hands, but they're fine for me; they suit the overall design :)

How do you like the buckle / strap? The buckle was the only criticism I've read from other owners.

Congrats it's a great looking watch
Seems ok to me; anything specific that was criticised?

Works well on nato's too and I plan to buy the titanium bracelet for it as well.

Between the pelagos and t2 which wears bigger?
Pelagos wears bigger - lug to lug is longer, it's thicker, it's heavier and it looks bigger even though about 1mm bigger diameter (iirc)

i believe andrew's ti seamaster recommendation was not for the titanium po, but the earlier standard ti seamaster (2231.60):

thinner, lighter, and less colorful than the ti po

Re: Which 'smarter' titanium dive watch?

A titanium seamaster would work. Or a Breitling aerospace. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Maybe I 'pigeon-hole' things too much! But, smarter for me would be a watch that could be worn with shirt/jacket, whereas, something like my T2, being more 'tool' doesn't really lend itself to that. ...

Which 'smarter' titanium dive watch?

After the great response I got to my last 'ti diver' question, I thought I'd pick your collective brains again please!.... With the arrival of my Sinn T2, I'm finding it more suitable for me as an everyday-tool-diver than my Pelagos, which I view as something slightly smarter really. The T2, being s...

Since you already own #BWITW then I'd go blue PO Ti.
Not much else can touch Pelagos with a black dial in Ti.
Question!... "BWITW" = best watch in the world?

Yup, agree
I've had a Shogun before - simply not a fan!...I didn't like the bracelet or the feel of the bezel action

Maybe I should give it another try!
