Re: Frickin’ Topper!

Topper is awesome. I've bought a couple of G-Shocks from them and even with only spending $400-$600 they treat you like royalty. Congratulations; I bought mine there, too. https://i.imgur.com/Dtb1YkT.jpg?1 How's your bezel? I pretty much can't turn mine, it's so tight. I’ve always found tha...

Seiko should include the MM300 strap

Yep, the hi res got me. It needs to be on a strap. The bracelet isn’t doing it any favors.

Re: Seiko’s new Marine Masters

There are so many weird elements here that I can't point to one single thing that ruins the design...It's just everything. What a strange release. So accurate. It's just an amalgamation of design traits that Seiko hasn't put together before. It looks like a 50 year old watch I found in my grandpa's...

Re: WRUW = Humpday = 1st Nov '23

Another day with this one. Got it last Thursday and it was running just a little slow. I adjusted it Saturday with my timegrapher and it's been a consistent +2 s/d on the wrist since then. Re: Certina’s new DS Super PH1000M

That looks cool. I’d have to replace that strap immediately. I don’t like the curved wave straps on Seikos either. The style might be polarizing, but those “wave” straps do work well for diving. I like the flat waves and the more modern NAFT straps. I just can't do that weird contoured style like t...

If this was 39mm and the crown was a bit more prominent I think I'd love it.

Re: What do you drive???

I’ve heard nothing but positive feedback on the genesis models lately. Nice one! Well, I posted a defender a few months ago and my vehicle situation is constantly changing. Still own the defender that’s for sale, but bought a new S580 Mercedes. Two months later my wife got in a wreck (not her fault...

I'm usually more into the oyster style bracelets, but I think I like the jubilee here. I've never tried this exact one, but in my experience the hollow type jubilees pull hair. Seiko's OEM one hurt, but looked cool and was extremely lightweight.

Everytime I see something come out like this no matter how big a raise, bonus, or how well my investments are doing I just realize how much of a cheap ass I've become.

I'm wearing a $150 G-Shock right now.

Re: What do you drive???

Wife decided to try an EV for her commute. Been a good little car so far. Was $20k off MSRP with only 2,000 miles on the odo. Used EV's are the best deal going right now. Has literally 4x the horsepower of my wife's old hybrid. https://i.imgur.com/OKBGeYE.jpg I like these a lot and I tend to dislik...
