Re: Vacheron rap shout out....

What's up with old dudes listening to rap? Aren't you the guys burning dr dre cd's In the street when I was 8? I know, right? Anyway, you can thank Jay-Z for the WISdom being expressed by rappers these days. I may not agree with his decision to shill for Hublot (entirely financially motiv...

Re: Random Serial Numbers? Significance?

Good point on the batch stamping.

Also, this is not true on Panerais, at least post-1997. All modern Panearis follow a very sequential, alphabetical system. And Panerai will happily tell you what year each serial maps to. Latest is P for 2013.

Re: Random Serial Numbers? Significance?

Random is the latest production watches, started around late 2011. Thus far, no one has determined how to decipher the production date to a randomized serial. G and random coincided, but generally it is accepted that G serials are slightly older. Of course, all this is hearsay and speculation - no o...

If anyone is serious, I'm a very good friend of the owner of dfw watches. I can talk to him about doing something international on a case by case basis.

I do :). By far my favorite (and most frequently kept) dial color. http://i725.photobucket.com/albums/ww258/zackjiz/0Wristshots/Audemars%20Piguet/B0A17E83-CC56-4B4A-8CF7-4614A27C6F0D.jpg http://i725.photobucket.com/albums/ww258/zackjiz/0Wristshots/Audemars%20Piguet/1C5C095C-A9C0-44F1-B04F-C2E0AEFE8F...

Re: Reps getting sneakier...

Oh wow... I guess it's ok for the "name brands" to charge $3k+ for a watch that only costs $200 to make. The watch companies aren't losing any money. lol that's the most retarded logic I've heard. Plenty of other ways theft of intellectual property ruins a brand's image. For example, if I've got a ...

Exactly. 233 all day and twice Sundays. Now, if it was a 422... Sent from Tapatalk Zak, don't start, I'm trying to get over it :) I get it on Thursday ;). If I had the wrist to pull it off, the 422 would be my one and only Pam. I just love the flat sapphire and back side power reserve. Doesn't stop...

Re: Reps getting sneakier...

To me, wearing reps and passing them off as genuine articles is despicable - it's simply lying. And selling them to unsuspecting others as authentic is even worse - that's flat out stealing. That being said, if it makes you happy to wear a rep, and you're not fooling anyone, cheating anyone, or othe...

Re: Range Rover and Kobold

Love range rovers. Actually may rival the g wagen as my favorite car in the world. But the Kobold, it's not one of my favorites - I don't hate it though. It just looks plain with some product placement. I'd buy it at the right price.
