Re: Leasing?

Blows my mind that the average new car loan is nearly $32k. It is a crazy amount, then I started pricing vehicles. :raised: I still cringe at the price of my truck, but I’ll have it for many years. It’ll be worth it in the end but all vehicles have gotten ridiculous. Truck prices have gone haywire....

Re: Headed to Napa Valley

Wine tour. Years ago I used to bounce from Bouchon to French Laundry as a part time chef de partie while working as a Sous Chef in downtown Sacramento on a different shift. You can call French laundry and see if they have a cancelation depending on party size. Seen people swoop right in and French ...

Re: Headed to Napa Valley

There are also a lot of mud baths/spas up that way if memory serves. Might be something to consider if the group is into that. I also thought about this but I thought the limo was probably a better idea so they can all sit back, relax, drink, and not have to worry, otherwise, they'll be alternating...

Re: Headed to Napa Valley

Buchon was nothing special. Ad Hoc was a little more accessible than French Laundry. Bottega was pretty good and more casual. Or why not rent a limo for her and her girlfriends for the bachelorette party to make sure no one has to serve as DD between wine tastings that I'm sure they have scheduled....

Headed to Napa Valley

So the fiance's birthday is tomorrow and with busy season and a wedding to plan, time definitely got away from me. She's headed out to Napa Valley in October for her bachelorette party and I wanted to do something nice for her birthday, that she can use/do out in Napa. Anyone have any suggesstions o...

Re: New Laptop/Tablet

I'm just not sure I'm sold on the iPad pro yet. I haven't been an Apple guy in a while and nothing else I own flows through the Apple ecosystem. I like the Surface, a lot, but not being able to stream Amazon Prime or download GooglePlay Movies to it just seems backwards in terms of capability. If I ...

New Laptop/Tablet

The iPad Mini finally crapped out after 6+years (I think I bought it in 2011-2012) and it's time for something new. I just bought a Microsoft Surface Pro 6 with the Intel i5 processor in it. I love it but I've run into a number of problems that I'm hoping someone in the know will be able to help wit...

Re: Disabling Tapatalk

I don't mind the change. It's just different. Biggest difference is now I'll probably visit slightly less since it's not an app, which doesn't make any logical sense beyond DWC doesn't run through my mind when looking at the phone.

Re: Ares - unboxing

Anyone else hear from Matt? I sent him a email, twice, asking if he could hold mine till I got home. I shortly received a shipping label after so guessing he didn't get it or I sent it to the wrong address.

I was at a client that ironically, is in the same building. Didn't even realize it till I saw it on the directory...it's a very "meh" building.

Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk I don't know about the lease - but those new Ram trucks are sweet. I test drove one a couple of months ago and almost bought it. Stop it. It isn't doa...

Re: Breaking Car Lease

So I called the leasing company. They told me to call the dealership to get my answers of options beyond just a payout of 13k. Basically I'm thinking at this point, SOL so better to stop thinking and just drive the vehicle.

Re: Breaking Car Lease

You can “get out of a lease” but they’ll just roll your current monthly payments into the new lease either way. No way a car company is going to “eat” (as they call it) 30 or so payments ETFs (early termination fees) vary by company and leasing programs whether favorable or not depend on the vehicl...

Breaking Car Lease

Anyone know if it is possible to get out of a car lease? Quick version: Leased the Alfa Romeo and while I like it, I'm just not happy in a SUV. With 30 months left am I SOL to get out of the lease and into a truck or is there a feasible way? Obviously not looking to hurt my credit, or have to pay en...

The Bodygaurd was good.
I need to watch it. Only like six episodes, right?
Yes, well worth it too. I almost stopped watching after some episodes in b/c it pissed me off
