I already liked the brand a lot but this is very good news on their handling of tariffs

Sounds like they are hoping for a quick resolution to the tariff. Me and my retirement account hope they are right.

I do believe it is not long-term. And people are overreacting, especially with the stock market. Too many knee-jerk reactions

Sidenote, I bought a reef diver and a few interchangeable bezels last year and I must say I really love it.

You're probably right about it not being long term, but not, perhaps, for the reason you think. GOP senators are souring on it because even they can see the immense amount of damage the tariffs are doing. They may want to restrict Trump's ability to arbitrarily impose tariffs. Not sure if GOP House members will follow suit. On top of that, Musk seems to be turning on Trump because of the massive hit his business is taking. I think that sooner or later, the tariff gambit will collapse.
