I also got a super oyster from WJ. Rock solid.

On the mesh, I have Sharkmaster mesh coming in with my new bracelet version of the Shark Diver. Pics to follow.

i just got a william jean mesh after waiting weeks for it to come from Canada.....By horse i guess...Crap i got watches from Hong Kong in days before...that said i opened it, went to size it and one of the frickin links also was stripped, so the screw/bar simply turns and turns and turns but never comes out.....SUCKS...Not sure what I need to do to send it back to him...totally bummed after waiting so long...I would have just bought the omega if i knew how to size it down to my small wrist. I was afraid you couldnt since theres no links etc....Can you make an omega smaller? I may just buy a jurgens or staib at this point.......

There's no way an Omega mesh won't fit your wrists. Are your wrists smaller than mine??

Fortunately, Omega mesh is made for smaller-ish wrists. The gorillas need to buy extensions to make it fit. It'll fit your wrist no problem. There are micro-adjustments (unlike their other diver bracelets.....) that will allow you to size it to your wrist.

6.5-6.75" no problem.

fwiw, drop William an email and let him know. I had a screw bar stripped out on a newly arrived oyster bracelet for my 6306 and he didn't send an extra link - he sent a complete bracelet sans deployant. He will take care of it, just let him know. Oh, and for some reason, the second one he sent didn't take all that long to get to me. Worth a shot if you want to keep that bracelet. Or you could swing the Omega - the one and only in mesh, imo.

You have to remove links to size it. I used a dremel.

I've bought all my mesh from Will Jean. Almost exactly the same as Omega. Omega is a bit more refined... but I'll take the $65 version any day over the $300 version.

I actually replaced Omega mesh with Will Jean mesh because I don't like that the Omega mesh separates into a two piece bracelet. You can lose a watch that way.

I have both and can say that the newer flat william jean mesh is pretty good quality. It is not as good as the Omega mesh but fairly close.

I don't lead the adventurous lifestyle that T.R. does, though.

All on Will Jean mesh....
and yes, for some odd reason it does take forever to get to you. Canadian customs can be slow from what I have experienced.

I have both Omega and Will's mesh. They are the same thickness, the same style, and equally as rugged and flexible. Frankly, I prefer the clasp on the Will Jean mesh to the Omega clasp for all around durability and reliability. Omega is a prettier clasp, no doubt. Will Jean mesh clasp features a push button clasp and the locking bar. No flip lock locking bar on the Omega. No likey on that.

Will's flat mesh - this mesh is not aligned as perfectly in rows as the Omega mesh, but I can live with that for a couple of hundred bucks.

Nice! :excited: Thanks Tom! I think I might have to hit WJ up for one of those flat link style bracelets. I love my Omega mesh but I have never really been all that keen on the seat belt buckle to hold it on. Never had it come loose, but it only takes once.

I emailed him twice, well see what he says. I can't wear the mesh since i can't get the link out but I was able to mount it on my Professionale and took a few pics before realizing I couldn't take the link out...I think its looks great on the Anonimo....Now can't wait to hopefully get a replacement so i can wear it out...
