I never set or use the date function, and rarely the winder: I wait until the time is right and shake it (the watch, that is, the watch).

I owned a Helson Sharkdiver once. I wore it for a day, but it was too big and clunky despite being "42mm". What pushed me over the edge was a girl who knew of my collection came up and said "What kind is that? It's kind of ugly". I listed it on WUS that night.
