Well Nikon US for instance will not service grey market purchased cameras. It's ridiculous.

Not to take away from any Rolex silliness of course. :-)

cameras are different. technically, canon USA is a different company than canon in japan. same for all of them. that's how they're able to work the "gray market" thing like that.

Looks like someone else took the hit for you Keith.

Some of the stuff on TRF is just holding on too tight, and a bit like shopping in a supermarket, way too much info overload of crap…

There are some gems there but you really have to troll through a lot of shyte. J

TRF is an interesting place. The noise far outpaces the signal.

Isn't that true of every watch forum except DWC? Not only is this place civil but the knowledge base and acceptance of most brands is constantly expanding.

Probably. What I like about this place beyond the cool folks in general is that no one here pretends to know everything. I see pissing matches at TRF all the time between members who are convinced they're right when, in reality, neither one of them has a clue.

Returning sea captain's wives used to impale pineapples on their house gate to announce their husband"s return laden with exotic riches for the community. So there's precedent for getting fucked by one.
