Things have settled down in coastal Massivetwoshits. I had wind gusting to 60+ MPH a few hours ago. Looks like the Jersey shore is getting pummeled now. How is NYC faring?

Best wishes,
Mles

Lights have been out here in northern NJ for the last few hours. About an hour ago we heard the wind really howling and then a large crash. Big maple in the front yard fell on my wife's car. Two houses up from me another tree fell into my neighbors front yard. Two big trees at the same time. Yes...we have some heavy winds.

Sorry about the tree and the car. Hopefully the insurance company will pay what's due.

Best wishes,

Whoa. Really sorry to hear about the car. Stay safe!

In other news, you know it's bad when there are sharks circling your front yard:

The bad news was the tree fell into my yard so my responsibility vs. falling into the street and the towns responsibility. :banghead: The good news is that no one got hurt and also it was my wife's car and not mine.

Over 8 feet of water in the streets. My basement and garage which are street level are destroyed,
And filled with water up to the ceiling. The power is out, Currently on 3rd floor just in case it gets worse.

Fam, watches and some food are all safe.

Merde, that's really lousy, Pat. But at least your family and you are safe. Everything else, albeit money, can be replaced. Stay safe, mate.

Made it through with just a few small trees down, and some missing siding.

That's shitty. Hope things get better. It might be a trite saying buy property is replaceable family is not. Stay safe.
cheers,

Keith
