Y'all know where I stand on homages, but I'd make an exception for the Arctic Diver. Damn, that's a good-looking watch and the price is definitely right.

My thoughts exactly. I have one watch purchase planned for this year..... a SBBN015 Tuna..... after I fulfill some other financial obligations around the house. This is the first one that almost made me take my eye off the prize. Don't know why Tudor doesn't make something like the Blue Snowflake anymore.

Can you imagine how well a re-issue/tribute piece would sell? I get happy in my pants just thinking about it.

with drilled lugs and a tapering bracelet it would be really nice.
right now it looks they just cut and pasted the og snowflake dial onto another steinhart dive watch.
hell I bet they even didn't change out the date wheel to a red/black version.

They could even use the Black Bay case.

Man I love the look of the Artic Ocean... that's definitely the best option for us that love the look of those Tudors and quite simply cannot afford them... I have a grail purchase planned this year but I think if I sell an extra watch from the ones I'm putting up I might just be able to pull this off...
I'll keep those Steinharts in my radar....

I swore off purchases for 2013 but I'll likely cheat and get the Arctic Ocean (and another OVM) sometime this year. Simply cool, well-built watches at a great price. I'd prefer the AO without the cyclops...
