I think that's the point that Steve was trying to make. Those are actually the really tight tolerances of separate case pieces.

Sorry I want my case made out of a big heavy block of Stainless. And those seams aren't that tight.

frankly, i've been rather bored with the watch scene the last couple of years. other than the reverso tribute, there's nothing out that is a new release that i find even remotely interesting enough to buy. the bp ff is too big, IWC has turned to crap, GO has sorta become a one-note, the micro-brands were over and done with even before the recession hit in 2008. JLC is probably the only company that is still staying somewhat close to their roots and they're succeeding largely by reintroducing their older models. great stuff though.

btw, do you know if all the reverso tribute us version is all spoken for? just curious. PM me if it's confidential info.

i agree...every collection should have one. sometimes, you can learn just as much from buying the wrong watch as you can from buying the right one.
