Helson homages my favorite watch

Post by FlyPenFly » Tue Apr 19, 2011 5:53 am

Looks cool, I kind of want one with a bubble bezel though not flat but hey it's lumed.

Between my two Fifty Five fathoms homages and this, I'm really glad I own the original or I'd be one sad pathetic man.

Yeah Pater is doing a good job. He is seperating himself from the rest of the micros and all the DWCers who have them love them. Fast Eddie is a straight up Helson whooooer.

In some ways though, I wish Helson put a bit more personal touches on this besides the caseback.

I like what Seiko did because its their interpretation of this design line. Helson doesn't seem like they tried too hard on this one.

Can't argue with you on this.

Depending on the price, I may skip it and just stick with the Seiko FFF.

Unfortunately, you did.

I like the watch, but I also like sleeping in my bed, in my house.

I already have the Seiko and the dial is on the way.

On a side note I hope to hell Helson doesn't sign on with the 3T-home of the fake Omega Planet Ocean. That would retard the progress he's been making so if you are reading this Peter-DONT DO IT.

Cool I like it. I still think he's capable of making a better PloProf 600m than the retards at O7. I would buy one...

Kind of makes me wish I had not sold my MKII Stingray. Hmmm.

Sporting my Helson Sharkmaster today and I'll tell you what... Helson makes a hell of a good dive watch.

Thanks for the heads up on the BPFF / Helson diver. May have to grab one!
