A video worth watching

Post by River Rat » Tue Sep 06, 2011 6:31 pm

Saw this video from another forum.About a diver Ray Ives and it's one of the coolest stories about a diver you will see a lot of older dive equipment and hear how it use to be and dam I hope I am still getting around like that when I get his age.

Fantastic, well worth watching and thanks for the link. I've dived a lot in Plymouth; next time I'm there I'll have to ask about him. I'd love to have a look see in that container.

Seems like that's a trailer for a full-length documentary:

I have accomplished a lot of things in my life. Things far, far less than 1% of the worlds population can ever even hope to achieve. This video was a soul surf for me, I think almost every day how relaxed I could be alone, away from everyone and everything. I know thats not what his life was about, but the simple solitude of an old school dive helmet seems like a nice place to get with yourself and just chill. My life has brought me a treasure more precious than anything I can imagine wanting in the gift of my daughter. If it wasn't for her I would without a doubt be somewhere free of any responsibility or care in this world.
 Just felt like venting.
