Re: Omega SM300 BT

The watch has just been overhauled by STS, including the cosmetic restoration of the case and original bezel, the movement has been completely overhauled, serviced and is warranted for two years.
Condition as you can see is as it should be, it also comes with the STS paperwork. There are a few marks on the watch, the bezel is original but has some stains and milking (I can provide a new one if required at buyers cost) but again the patina is stunning and matches the dial extremely well
The patina of the dial is the best I have seen and this is complemented matching original sword hands, the dial and hands and a similar luminance and glow .
Condition:
Case: Totally original with superb angles and correctly refinished at Omega
Case back: Mint with very clear hippocampus and virtually no tool marks
Dial: Stunning with one of the best Patina’s I have ever seen
Hands: Original sword hands with a very close pantina and similar residual glow to the dial luminance
Bezel: Totally original, extensive staining but totally original and wears extremely well, I can provide a service replacement at buyers cost.
Band: Original 20mm tropic and original (to the watch) 1171-1 bracelet (these BCT’s are worth £200 alone now)
Papers: STS service papers and 2 year warranty
Box: STS service pouch
I am looking for £1650 shipped RMSD (insured for £2000) or International signed for (insured for £500) No offer on this one chaps, I have priced it to sell and if it doesn’t then I will keep it.
Payment via BT or Paypal (as a gift or you cover the fees)

This is the watch Mike is referring to.
The Big Triangle.

Ooops. He just posted a pic. I'll leave this one up, anyway. Cool as hell.

Omega SM300 BT
Maybe it's a sign

Re: Omega SM300 BT
Maybe sell one of your Doxa's so you would have a rotation of the 14060, the Omega and
a Doxa...That's pretty solid
Cooler...deepends on if you are a Rolex whore or an Omega whore...
As soon as you ask if the watch is cooler then it seems that you don't dig the Rollie
...I'd hold onto it until the new ceramic version comes out--retail for that one is $7100..Sell high..

This Sub is cool

I just keep looking at vintage stuff. New stuff really holds little interest for me, Mike. The only reason I think of selling the sub is to get something like a 5513/1680/SM300.
Limited with what I want to tie up in watches right now.

Re: Omega SM300 BT
I love 'em. These watches would just be so much more special if WatchCo wasn't pumping out so many "NOS" versions, IMO.
I'd buy that though. Maybe not over a no-date Sub as a daily wearer though...

Re: Omega SM300 BT
Personally, I know this is contrary to you vintage guys, but I prefer the watchco sm300s. Those are like getting the new watch feel all over again 40 years later.
Now original ploprofs or sm1000s...well that is a different story.

+1...call me a bottom dweller, but I'd rather get a Watchco and use the extra cash for somthing else. Watchco is going to dry up someday, I hope I can get one for cheap before then...
