My 1st grade teacher
My 1st grade teacher
I don't know if this is a national commercial, but some of you may have seen this. The woman was my 1st grade teacher and it is good to see she is still doing well.

I can only wish I'd have half her spirit at 90 years of age. Warms the heart to watch this

That's just too cool. I attended Elysian Heights Elementary School in the late 1980s. I wonder where those teachers are now.

Chris, that is really something to see ! ..What a cool couple.

Re: My 1st grade teacher
It is funny that this came up this year. My son is entering 1st grade and will be in the very same classroom that I was in. His teacher is quite a bit younger than Mrs. K.

So, you'll be attending all the parent teacher conferences yourself then?CGSshorty wrote:She was probably pretty damn close 10 years ago.jeckyll wrote:Does she look anything like the one a couple of posts up?!?CGSshorty wrote:It is funny that this came up this year. Re: My 1st grade teacher
Chris, I just remembered. Your teach - Mrs Kaufman - was supposed to be on Ellen this week. My wife Tivo's the show and she remembered me mentioning the "Swiffer Lady" was your old teacher. Sorry, other than work, all I think about is sleep.
I found this on Youtube. Maybe there is a better version on Ellen's website.

Thanks guys. They have become minor celebrities in my town. Well deserved as they are truly wonderful people.cali kid wrote:Always laugh at that couple and figured they were just actors, great story Chris and thanks for sharing!
