Got something orange in the mail today

Post by logan2z » Thu Oct 17, 2013 7:45 pm

My first vintage DOXA Sub 300T, from our resident DOXA-phile Mike (demer03)!

I've been wanting a vintage-proportioned DOXA Pro for a while and was thinking about buying a used 1200T. But when I saw Mike's 300T go up for sale, the chance to buy the real deal and own a bit of dive watch history proved too alluring. In usual DWC fashion, Mike was a pleasure to deal with and patiently answered all of my noob vintage DOXA questions. He was also kind enough to give me a DWC discount and shipped the watch super fast. It arrived today carefully packed and in exactly the condition he stated - the watch has been overhauled by Jack at IWW and looks great. Thanks Mike, I love it!!

A quick and dirty pic. I figured an orange Pelican case was an appropriate back drop...

Sweeeeet. Nice work. Doxa is on the top of the "why haven't I bought one of these yet" list for me. Enjoy!

That looks great and if it came from Mike you know it has been restored right regardless of expense.

Congrats.

Andrew, glad that you got to pick one of these up. Looks like Mike really
kept this in great shape for you. :headbang:

Has to be one of the nicest dive watches with not only that beautiful
orange dial, but the unforgettable case, and bracelet too. Even when
you look at that dial you realize this is something special.

Big congratulations !

Thanks Tom, I'm thrilled with it. The new DOXAs are nice and I'll likely own a 1200T at some point too, but there's something super cool about owning an original.

Wow Mike, I think this lasted longer than the Searambler I sold you... You're making progress...

Enjoy it Andrew, it's a great watch...
