long story short is sold 3 watches I really liked (sea dweller made the cut again) and ended up my 2nd IWC - the 1st one was my old 3717 pilot chrono and my 2nd one is also a chrono: An Aquatimer Galapagos Limted Edition from Adam.

Adam even included an unsolicited HTFU bracelet! how cool is that :grin:

I'll compile some thoughts on this bad ass watch later after we spend some time together but just after a few hours I can report it is extremely comfortable, extremely legible and seems extremely, extremely well put together.

Chrono pushers have a satisfying snap when operated, the bezel is the same and moves with very tight tolerances. Crown is tight and takes just a little effort to reach the time and date setting positions which I like vey much.

It is a nice alternative to the SeaDweller in looks, size and function. should be great to rotate with (and the 007 for fun)

Hey Ricardo, thanks! the Sinn 104, Breitling SuperOcean and the Tag Heuer Aquaracer were sacrificed to make this happen (and a little for Pamela's birthday, too) I'd like to reacquire another SuperOcean somewhere along the way.

The ends justify the means for this one :love:
