I'm supposed to be exiting the hobby....

Nope. I did something stupid. Shot a fair offer at a dude on eBay for a Marathon SAR. Didn't think he'd take it, but he did.

Oy vey.

Why would you exit the hobby? I love the SAR!!

I have the TSAR and love it. It kicked serious ass when I was in and even now, after modding, it's even better. But I always wanted a SAR. Still, watch collecting has been starting to wear me down and I think it's time to take an extended break. I suppose the SAR is unfinished business. It's in far from LNIB shape, but not terrible. No cyclops either, which I'm ambivalent about. But has the bracelet with the DOD seal.

It was a fair deal. Not fantastic, but a lot better than an AD "used" price of $1150 from earlier today and it beat the ones on the forums. So I'm happy.

The SAR kicks serious ass. I think I paid $500 for mine plus $140 for the bracelet from County Comm a hell of a many years ago. She lasted a long time with me.

I hope you enjoy it .....

If you don't it will probably sell here in about 20 minutes if the price is right.

The SAR only had the ladder hands I thought? Wasn't it just the JSAR that had the weird hot dog hands?
