More Horological Sacrilege - 116622
Re: More Horological Sacrilege - 116622
Really nice job. Well done Matt.
only accurate watches are interesting
Re: More Horological Sacrilege - 116622
Don't think I could ever get myself to do that (mainly because I actually like the "bling" of the PCLs against the platinum bezel) but I have to give it up for having the balls to do it. Not to mention it's pretty easily reversible.

That looks great, no doubt about it. The TRF folks would go crazy especially the ones who worry about taking their watch in the water, heck they will want to burn you at a stake for being a heretic.

It was posted on TRF. The response was about 80% in favor when I looked.watchdawg wrote:That looks great, no doubt about it. The TRF folks would go crazy especially the ones who worry about taking their watch in the water, heck they will want to burn you at a stake for being a heretic.

Here's a clasp shot. Not a macro, but at least it's a picture. Additionally also check the consistency of the reflection in the brushed case across the width of the case in the second pic, and you can see what a good job they did.

Spectacular is about the only word to describe that watch. Are you going to post it over at TRF? I would... She looks great Matt.

Dissenting opinion here......
nooooooo
Having said that I never really cared for the blue dial Yachtmaster. I love the platinum dial one though.

Love it. Might have to send my Sub-C over for a crystal swap.

I find my old eyes are needing the cyclops more and more, but this looks great. They did an excellent job with the brushing. Good move, Matt.
Re: More Horological Sacrilege - 116622
Killer Matt.... Love the blue dial and brushed bracelet... Good luck with the whole one watch thing... That's as good a candidate as any
