My first watch found in old boxes

Post by rockmastermike » Sun Nov 30, 2014 3:39 pm

probably not my very first watch, but it is the first one I remember having and wearing, so I'm going with that.

found going through old boxes cleaning out the garage as part of my honey do list for the weekend.

I present the Nelsonic digital watch/alarm/chrono. I remember pushing buttons, setting the alarm and timing just about everything...

Very cool. Here's my first. It was a high school gift from my mother. Mid '60s vintage.

Incredibly cool. I wish I could track down all of my old watches.

I found my very first (the absolute first) not long ago and my parents house in an old dresser drawer. An old hand wind Mickey Mouse. It's missing a crown and stem but is otherwise just as I left it circa 1979-80. I'll have to dig it out and snap a pic.

Very cool Mike. I remember finding a Bulova automatic in a restaurant when I was about 12 and, when no one claimed it, the manager gave it to me. Wish I still had that!

Very cool! My first is long gone, it was an old Timex hand cranker.

First ever Swiss watch. Gift from my first wife in about 1974. The truly amazing thing about this one is that I still have it after two divorces, over a dozen moves, and 40 years. Still runs, but needs a service.

If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.

some memories looking at that for the first time in so many years. Love the
futuristic case shape ! ..Do you think you might pop a new battery in there,
and wear it again? :excited:

By the way, those are ALL awesome there guys ! :salute:

Looks similar to this one which I picked up on Ebay a few years back and polished up. Works like new.
