Baseball and a Seawolf

Post by 425ranger » Thu Aug 27, 2015 4:36 pm

I went with my family to the Detroit Tigers game. It was fun and a close game too (we lost). I took some pictures of my kids and my new SS Breitling Avenger Seawolf. I wanted to capture the mix of finely brushed surfaces with mirror finish polished ones. The small details lend the watch a level of quality and design that's easily overlooked. This is a re-buy for me as I had a grey faced version in the past.

Thanks Fitz for the easy sale. I'm going to buy a Ocean Racer rubber and the excellent deployant ASAP.

Start with some baseball etc, then some 3000M waterproof silliness....

The day was bright but overcast, this resulted in an even light over us like a light box of sorts...

Here are the satin / polish pictures...

Your team doesn't have to win for a great day at the ball park. Our Rangers make this valid.
Ocean racer good call.

Awesome Bill! I'm glad you're digging it and were able to get some more links on that bracelet.

I'm continually impressed by the details in watches from applied markers, surface finishes, and the thought and design that go into it. The Seawolf was one of the best! [CLINKING BEER MUGS]

As a Tigers fan from afar colour me green with envy.
Looks like a great day out with the family, Bill. It was crazy to see Verlander lose that no-no yesterday with a double landing on the foul-line chalk, but here's hoping everything points to a much better 2016.

Oh yeah, nice watch.

The Seawolf is always a good choice, I've owned way to many of them.

What a day there Bill !  Can't get better than a day with the family
at the game. Right?! Some awesome pictures of everything. Looks like a great
day even if the Tigers lost. ..Spending time with everyone like that definitely
had to take the sting off. ..As did the watch !!! Boy, that one is outstanding !

Can totally see all of the detail with the finishes, and almost feel the quality of
this one. Wow, and check out how the crystal looks invisible in your terrific pics ! :o

Huge congrats here sir, and THX for sharing all the pictures from the day !

Sweet! I had one of those at one time (didn't I buy it from you!?). Too big for my skinny wrist, but totally bad a$$ piece!

Looks like you had fun , even with the loss. I'm a Cubs fan, so I know the feeling lol

Nice, always a good day. Although here in Philadelphia you'd go to Citizens Bank Park pretty much expecting a loss. I still laugh when I think of taking my kid to his first game -Chase Utley hit a grand slam in the 8th inning, and my son's response... "I can't believe it took so long to see a grand slam." I'd been going to games for 30+ years before seeing my first, he had to wait 8 innings.. :raised:

Great times and good looking family! For a split second I thought your son was wearing go-fasters. :geek: I think I may have a set or two in a dufflebag if he wants one.

Great watch Bill and looks like good times. Dr J, I'm more comfortable with a silly mid on. J
