Holy shit. I can't remember the last time I started one of these. I'll go with the Pogue, courtesy of my friend, the Captain! Serdal, she's in good hands!

Ed, how have you not sold that yet?
Brice, keeping up the prestige of the forum with the Alpina. I dig that chrono

Bracelet is on. Discovered a very nice little shop selling some very tempting vintage watches through the process. Never thought I would buy one but its very tempting now. Some Speedy Mark II's, a Zodiac triple date moonphase, a Movado with El Primero movement and a truckload of Omegas and Longines, along with some watches I know nothing about (Wakmann, a weirdly large Heuer, another very very large Omega etc.)

Re: WRUW 10-24-15
I am going to go back there next week and will post a new thread then with lots of pictures. The sad part is I don't know the market for these watches so when the guy there quotes a price I have no idea if it is good or not - half the times I just felt he was making up a number in his head for the price lol.
Here are three highlights -
Huge Omega, crazy Heuer and Movado El Primero (priced $2200)

Zodiac triple date moonphase on left ($1200) and Wakmann on right, huge Omega can be seen bottom right, and two Speedy Mark II's in background

I really liked this. $2200

Patina on the dial markers

Maybe there's a bargain hidden somewhere, I suppose the watchguy there doesn't get a lot of people coming in, he was happy to talk and show me around, and didn't charge me for installing the bracelet (he also struggled fitting it and the first time had fit the 6 o' clock end of the bracelet on the 12 o' clock
)

I like the omega with red accents but really really like that zodiac chrono. It's so much like the 70s smiths chrono I didn't buy but should have. Looking forward to more pics and details next week.
