Re: MFK
Ditch that "hulk" before people remember why nobody liked it 2 years ago.
Re: MFK
I think logic says I have to sell the Hulk while it's hot...problem is, once I do, there's a good chance I don't get another one. Our favorite "trusted" seller just listed a new BLNR at $24k. If that is the trend (where normal people have no ability anymore to buy from an AD and instead are just scalped by forum dealers), I'm priced out of the market.

Re: MFK
Marry: Hulk. Might be my favorite Rolex I’ve owned. People either love it or hate it, and I can’t understand why. The dial is fantastic. I had the Kermit and I much prefer the Hulk. It’s not even close.
Fuck: SD4K. I liked it while I owned it, but the Matt dial doesn’t look right to my eyes. I prefer the Sub dial. I did like the case.
Kill: AP Diver. Lovely dial, never liked the fit of the watch. Wore like a brick. I’d never buy an AP ROO again.
I like 5 and 6 digit cases. And I like my Rolex with a date and cyclops.

Re: MFK
The bezel definitely looks different depending on the light. I can understand the lifeless issue in flat light.JP Chestnut wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2019 6:55 pmIt's not the dial, which is nice. It's the lifeless off color green bezel, which is made doubly worse juxtaposed next to the nice green dial.
Re: MFK
SD4K is the keeper for sure. If you don’t have to- don’t sell it! It will jump in value even more.
Hulk... < Kermit.
I’d do horrible things for a Kermit.
I don’t like the all green dial and bezel at all.
AP. If you’re already thinking about it, just do it.

Re: MFK
Zack had a mod where he got an LV and a regular Sub and swapped bezels. Both of the resultant watches looked awesome. The modern TT and YG Blue Subs suffer from the off color bezel just as much. I guess I just miss the nice sunburst dial + vivid aluminum inserts.Nellipj wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2019 6:59 pmThe bezel definitely looks different depending on the light. Re: MFK
You are a 5 digit guy. Nothing wrong with that. My 16710 and 16610 are keepers. I lean more to the 6 digits depending on reference. I do see a 6 digit TT Bluesy or a TT Rootbeer in my future at some point.JP Chestnut wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2019 7:31 pmZack had a mod where he got an LV and a regular Sub and swapped bezels.
