BREMONT S500 Black - any experience?

Post by deepcdvr » Sun Jan 31, 2021 7:37 am

Just got offered subject watch from Apachedriver.

It’s a gorgeous piece with great reviews - anyone here have experience with that one?

Thanks!

Pretty sure I’ve done business with him before. I would think the Bremont is worth more, but don’t see them often enough to have a true pulse on their gray market pricing.

I would probably do it. They are moving for over $2k in the gray market, so you should be able to flip it easily.

I had a couple, solid watches; and they haven't come up for sale much recently.

I’ve owned two and have considered a third. They’re excellent watches and good value on the secondary market. Do you love the look?
This ain’t a hobby for those with ADD (most of us).
I was told that one of the Teams bought these.

I had both the Blue and Black and really liked them
Pros:
Built like a tank
Lume
accurate
Versatile - I wore it on rubber, bracelet, nato, canvas and leather
Masterpiece Lugs
Applied Markers and Dial Detail

Cons:
Thick (for me)

This is the Blue Dial, but here are a few amateur close ups of the dial

Wow thanks for all the pics!

I’m gonna do it - the Rolex is out of my price range for the next couple years; who knows if I’ll be around to enjoy it then anyway lol

Since you’ll move this in 2-3 months MAX, the extra cheddar gets you closer to the Rolex.

Miss my S500. Great piece. Only downside as others have said is the trip-tick construction makes for a pretty thick piece. But yet another watch I wish I still owned.

Had a blue one and miss it. The case is really beautiful. I have a small wrist and liked how it looked on the bracelet and even more on the Bremont rubber. It was too thick for me for nato wear though, if those are your plans.

I love the Ti GMT versions (basically the same form factor) in the Terra Nova and Endurance.

The S500 is one of my most highly rated dive watches. Well finished, great accuracy, tough AF.

Crazy clear photo, Carl! It almost looks like you pulled a wet suit glove on and took a photo in front of a poster.

You must have one heck of an underwater camera rig.
