Just what I needed Hop, another impulse buy. :banghead:

We’ll see how this looks in person. Hard to go wrong for the price.

Pics on the site are better, but not great.

I don’t get the whole “cage number” bit either, but the rest seems cool.

well if they were Synchron I would agree. since they put the case size without the caseback on their descriptions. lol. i have found in the past countycomm has been great on their descriptions. but maybe they didn't include the dome crystal?

Cage number makes it edgy.

I really like that....except for the damn engraving! Kind of reminiscent of Invictca. :banghead:

Wow, check that out Hoppy ! :o 8-)

I'm not sure which is cooler actually. ..The watch, or the price !! :)
I mean just looking at the watch, it looks like it should be a lot
more, a lot more. However, it really seems like a steal for what
you get, and what this is. Without even seeing the watch, the
specs are impressive. And then when you see the watch, you
are that much more impressed.

So cool, and didn't know about this one either. ..Thanks a ton sir !!!

I’m pretty sure they actually have bins/cages for the stuff they inventory, as I’ve seen it referred to with other products. Yes, I’d prefer it without markings, but at least it does have an actual meaning.

Titanium.. nice
Maserati symbol.. nice
Not huge.. nice
14mm+ thick.. not nice
Goofy side engraving.. really really not nice
Markers and hands lume mismatch.. not nice
Same watch that’s been made by couple other micro brands.. not nice (no reason to add to collection)

I like the idea of getting one at that price, but I know I’d get bored of it within two weeks.

I appreciate that they come up with something new and different. This could even be a nice base for new projects...

It reminds me of the Hemlig, but a lot chunkier and for not much less, it has a Seiko movement instead of Sellita. I suspect that anyone who flips it will take an even bigger hit than they would with the Hemlig.

Thanks, it does have a little original BPFF look. It wears about like the old Sea-Dweller. On the wrist you don’t notice the writing on the side.

Image

Lume shot. No artificial exposure, just walking outside on a grey rainy day. Lume color on hands matches markers and bezel, the hands just look bluish where they are white because of the radiated lume. It’s all as it should be.

Image

It’s a solid deal @ $289 and even better with 10% off.

I’ve always had great luck with CountyComm / Maratac watches.

Just got mine today. It is the first watch I’ve bought in a year and a half. It’s amazing.

Others have reviewed it better, but I like the clarity of the dial, the knurled bezel and crown. Reminds me of the Marathon watches I’ve always liked.

I was on the fence until hoppyjr’s post above. So glad I bought mine from them. Thanks, buddy!
