I like the black one, Tom; it seems familiar but I can’t place what it reminds me of…
I like square’ish watches generally and I’m a bit burned out on arrow, sword or skeleton hands so I appreciate these.
Looks thick though…

I’m so happy that you like them sir.
You know what it might be that looks familiar Paul?! Is I think that this case
design was actually used a lot years back. Not only by Certina, but also other
brands. So this look from the case, to the hands although old, is now new
once again.
Really was terrific hearing what you thought about these sir. Thanks so very
much for sharing your thoughts !!!
Re: New Certina DS Chronograph Automatic 1968
Whoa, just saw this post Tom. This new Certina looks very interesting. I've always liked dive chronographs.
Thanks for the post.
Thanks for the post.
Re: New Certina DS Chronograph Automatic 1968
You got it, my pleasure.
My apologies for not seeing the reply, or replying sooner.
I think that I finally got covid here on this end, and have
kind of felt zapped over the last several days.
I am with you though, this Certina is pretty great really.
There’s no cookie cutterness to it, and it seems to be
reviving a beautiful vintage case design.
I’m so happy you liked it so much. ..Thank YOU for giving
your two cents sir !!!

Hey, Tom, hope you're feeling better soon.

This new chono looks to be a revival of the Certina Argonaut dive chronograph from 1969/1969 (Ref 8401002).

it’s ornery, as far as how long it is holding on.
Yes, I think you are right on about the new Certina. It is definitely a
revival with the same feel of those beauties. And honestly, I hope they
keep on making these for years now.
They could add in different variations every once in a while too.
Thank you so so much for the info, as well as look at those !!!
