La Joux-Perret’s G100, L100 and D100 movements
La Joux-Perret’s G100, L100 and D100 movements
Guys, did you know about these movements?
It looks as though La Joux-Perret has three movements that
are alternatives to ETA movements everyone. They include
the 24 jewel G100 with it’s 68 hr. power reserve. Which is like
the ETA 2824, and Sellita SW200-1. The 26 jewel L100 with
it’s 60 hr. power reserve. Which is similar to the ETA Valjoux
7750, along with Sellita SW500. Last but not least, you have
the 26 jewel D100, an automatic hand-winding movement
with 60 hr. power reserve, that’s like ETA Peseux 7001.

Nice, they look like good alternatives. Interesting that they made a 7750 with column wheel. Thanks AT.

Yeah I’ve seen brands start using them.
Good shop. They make amazing high end calibers. That’s good to see them make more pedestrian mvts as an alternative to the ETA and Sellita

I have a Zelos with the G100, it's been rock solid and the extra power reserve just gives watches a higher end feel. I believe the L100 chronograph can also be setup as a 3-6-9 or 6-9-12. Frederique Constant is using it as a 3-6-9 and I believe no date corrector button like the ETA 7753.

The 2020 Aquastar has the column wheel bi-compax motor.

Alpina and FC have been using them because they are the same company, all owned by citizen, along with Arnold & Son and Angelus huger end brands part of the same company as JLP. Of course these brands use LJP higher end calibers.Dynamite_Kid19 wrote:I have a Zelos with the G100, it's been rock solid and the extra power reserve just gives watches a higher end feel. Yeah. Hadn't seen other FCs with them before the highlife Chrono. Are there others? What Alpinas are using them? I wish Alpina would release a nice sized diver with 1. Be awesome to see FC switch the from using ETA bases for their perpetual calendars to the LJP.Jeep99dad wrote:Alpina and FC have been using them because they are the same company, all owned by citizen, along with Arnold & Son and Angelus huger end brands part of the same company as JLP. It really is fun to see more options right guys?! Like you I have thought it
was long overdue to have more variety movement wise. Although It looks as
if these movements will be used in a little more high end watches. It’s still
nice to see other movement alternatives. And the overall quality, or specs,
along with capabilities really do sound impressive honestly.
Man oh man, it was just terrific hearing what everyone had to say about
these. Thanks so very much for sharing your opinions, as well as giving
your insight too !!!
