Sometimes, Less Is More - Sinn Content

Post by namor » Mon Jun 27, 2022 2:02 pm

I bought a used EZM3 that needed some spa work. Sent it to Sinn in Germany for a full rehab. When they asked me to confirm the scope of work, I figured I’d ask if they’d replace the dial with the no-numbers EZM3F dial. To my pleased surprise, they said sure.

Then the waiting started, with repeated delays in their estimated finish time. But finally, $600+ later, it was done. For me, totally worth the time and money - they really mean a “full” refurb. Refinished the case, complete movement service, new CuS capsule, new bezel and insert, new hands, the EZM3F dial, and water test. Essentially it’s like a new watch with a unique, factory installed look. A 500M diver with the clean flieger dial - it has less on it, but is worth much more to me!

It’s how Sinn should build them.

They did with the EZM13.1 so I expect we’ll see an EZM3.1 like this.

Looks really nice, great Sinn came to the party switching the dial out, unlike so many others.

That really something to see actually Seth, holy cow, amazing stuff ! :o
And you know, was thinking how ingenious it was of you to do all of
this. Because you picked up a nice used Sinn, but then we’re able to
turn it into a brand new watch. Brilliant !  You have to love
it when a plan comes together. ;) Now you have not only a flawless
new Sinn. But one with a more no nonsense dial, as well as style.
It’s just fantastic !

A fantastic idea by you sir, along with fantastic job done by Sinn here. :salute:
Honestly didn’t know, or realize that Sinn did these kind of incredibly
cool transformations. ..A HUMONGOUS congratulations on all of this !!!
