Benrus Type II

Re: Benrus Type II
Oh man oh man.
I will have one eventually, bad timing for me but I’ve always loved the type 2 dial.
Like the type 1, I had an MKii Blackwater with this dial and it was a huge regret selling.
This is so cool since since Marathon dropped the ball when they announced 2 years aid they were going to have a new SS navigator. I’ve heard conflicting stories of that is still happening, but no updates in over a year.

Alright, now that’s cool Todd, or actually too cool !!
I mean it looks basically identical to the original from here.
Plus you get all the modern day bezel, and whistles at the
same time. Just looks fantastic ! ..All of those do honestly
you guys.
Can’t thank you enough for the news Todd !!!

Re: Benrus Type II
Potential buyers might have noticed the abysmal resale of the type 1. It's a great watch, but as I said when it was first released, it's not a $1500 watch...and I own one.toxicavenger wrote: ↑Wed Jul 27, 2022 6:03 pmthey haven't sold out like the last ones did. i wonder what happened to the hype train? are there any blogs covering this release?
Re: Benrus Type II
I sold my Type I, but to do it again I’d have kept it. Sometimes we don’t know which ones made an emotional connection until they’re gone.
I’d buy a Type II but frankly I’m happy with my stable and feel like I’m close to done.

You have a great stable atm. I'd like an FXD, but I still have the U50 pro purchase looming over me, so I am on a spending hiatus.

Re: Benrus Type II
For this kind of price I think an ETA would have been a better choice.

I love it. I plan on getting one this fall/winter for sure.
I actually loved the Type 2 dial before I even cared about the Type 1 dial.
