Whisky has killed more men than bullets, but most men would rather be full of whisky than bullets.

Thanks for thoughts & prayers everyone Pam has a serious problem with both hands, one diagnosed as carpal tunnel, the other as trauma injury. Her doctor changed her mind before even seeing the x ray results and diagnosed arthritis and has been sending Pam down that trail ever since. Her emergency referral to an arthritis specialist was made in February & finally got to see him a few weeks ago. Today those hand scans came back as borderline possible arthritis with no further action needed. Her doctor is now referring Pam to a Musculoskeletal specialist, which seems to me should have been the first referral. Quite why Pam had the full body bone scan is still a mystery, lol but almost 8 months of being in constant pain with only over the counter painkillers any way of getting a proper diagnosis is welcome and at least then she can be given either the correct drugs or an operation. To be honest, we've come to the conclusion our NHS is total crap at the moment.

Sadly, nationalized health care rarely works as intended. It’s why our Medicare system is crap and I’ve known many Canadians who have sought treatment in the USA.
