Hamilton’s Khaki Navy Scuba Syroco S.E.

Post by AtomicTom » Wed Sep 07, 2022 10:38 am

I’m thinking you guys maybe caught Hamilton’s Khaki Navy Scuba
Syroco S.E. But just in case, have a little info for you.

This new Khaki Navy Scuba was done in conjunction with Syroco,
and pays tribute to their wind-powered speedcraft, which is in the
works. With the watch itself having specifications which include a
40mm stainless steel case, blue and silver bezel, blue dial with
orange, and white accents, a sporty blue rubber strap, plus the
H-10 automatic movement also.

Nice. Would be perfect IMO if 42mm or so.

Why? Why? Why put the date on there like that? An otherwise nice design.

The date window there definitely spoiled it's looks.

It seems with this new dial of these models no date is way to go as they can’t properly integrate the date.

I hear you Steve, Mike, Andy, Don, and Mike. ;)

Really the only way to remedy the issue, is either to make the watch smaller with
no date. Or to have different sizes of the watch available. As well as no date versions,
or different date wheel colors as well. :) And honestly, that would be very very cool,
because it gives more options, not to mention offers something for everyone. :salute:

We are seeing it more, and more Lately. But maybe the next Hamilton Special
Editions will come in multiple variations, and sizes guys.

Can't say how great it was hearing what everyone had to say. Thanks very very
much for chiming in on these !!!

My thoughts also. I do like Hamilton as a brand, but they do tend to mess up the date placement on a lot of watches.
