Hamilton celebrates it’s 130th Anniversary in Lancaster

Post by AtomicTom » Thu Nov 17, 2022 4:57 pm

Did anyone hear about Hamilton celebrating part of it’s 130th
Anniversary in Lancaster Pennsylvania?

Evidently a small group of fans, as well as press were enjoyed a
day of touring the National Watch and Clock Museum, as well as
Hamilton Watch Company. Which was the home of Hamilton from
1890 to 1980. And now is the Clock Towers condominiums.

Later in the day, things moved to the Brent Miller watch shop.
Where the celebration included a look at the American Classic
Railroad Pocket Watch. Which just 917 pieces are being made
of to pay tribute to their old factory’s address at 917 Columbia
Avenue.

I have to agree Rob. :) Hamilton seems to always manage to do the right thing.

It sounds like the people who went, as well as people in Lancaster really appreciate
the brand, as well as history in general too. So it’s just great to hear about. :)

And it was great hearing what you thought too sir. :salute: Thanks so so much !!!

No way that's a formal event unless Adam attends.

That is true.

You know I was wondering how many people actually got to go.
It sounds like it was maybe mostly a media event, but maybe
some people got to go who are genuine fans of the brand too.

Definitely looked as if it was a fun day.

Thanks a lot just for looking John !!!

I wish I'd known, Lancaster isn't too far from me and I am a fan of Hamilton. My first nice watch was a Hamilton and I have my dad's 1952 Hamilton that was actually made in Lancaster.

It seems like we find out about a lot of these things after the fact
right Jeff?! ;) And honestly I’m not even sure that this was open to
the public sir.

What’s nice is that you can celebrate in your own way with those
cool Hamilton’s you have ! :salute: :)

Cannot thank you enough for joining in on the conversation Jeff !!!
