First watch for my son
First watch for my son
Hey guys- looking for some advice on a watch to get my 5 year old boy. He has to taken a liking to my g shock square and is really in to telling time these days.
Does anyone have a good suggestion for something like my square but smaller.... Maybe some other Casio of similar styling but kid sized?

I think there's several "Baby G" Casio watches that are smaller....

Great when they get into watches, isn’t it?
What about a classic F91W?

Hey cool TD.
Just seeing this Super Mario Bros. G-Shock, along with a couple more
kid friendly combinations. And there are a lot more than this too sir.
Timex’s Time Machines looks great too...
Flik Flak has a ton as well...

Thanks for the suggestion Terry! I've never heard of these but I bet he would think these are really cool

That could work, I would probably need to trim the strap but definitely a good option, thanks!OrangeSport wrote: ↑Sat Nov 19, 2022 9:18 amGreat when they get into watches, isn’t it?

I’d suggest going with an analog choice. Had a hell of a time with my kids and digital.
If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.

You can find the JDM version on eBay called "g-shock mini", which has some awesome color options. Most are close to $100, though. I bought my son the OG version GXS-900 called "Club-G" as his first G-Shock, and it's a perfect size and a lot cheaper if you can find one.
And apparently there's also a Mini CasiOak in Black (GMAS2100-1A), and White (GMAS2100-7A), etc., that can be modded, lil' baller style.
