Chronosport Sea Quartz Re-Pop…
This is pretty cool! I know the fellas at Momentum Watches pretty well. Simon did a great job on this one;
Before starting Momentum, our founder Simon and his family owned a watch company called Chronosport. In 1977, they launched one of the first-ever analog quartz diver’s watches, the Sea Quartz 30. The brand became so popular that it was soon sold in almost every serious dive store in the US and Canada. This watch was also famously worn by Tom Selleck in the first 3 seasons of the hit show Magnum PI.

Get your order in today! I think the promotional price ends today.
It is definitely a cool looking watch and a crazy bargain at the $185 intro price (which was retail price for the original back in 1985).

Re: Chronosport Sea Quartz Re-Pop…
Thanks for the heads up Dave, these are really cool. I already have my quartz grab and go, but for $195 I may just grab one. I'm curious why Simon didn't revive the Chronosport name like so many other companies have done?

From info I got from my contact at Momentum, the trademark is owned by Belair Time.jswing wrote:Thanks for the heads up Dave, these are really cool. The Chronosport of Europe in the 90s was never part of this chronosport brand and came about after Chronosport in US ceased operations.
Their is a guy on eBay selling a version of this watch but he named it Chronoports -Ports, not sport.

Hey Dave,
Can you ask your friend if he has one of these laying around?
It's the only version I have seen that I haven't yet aquired.

I had it in my cart but what made me close the window out was Momentum being on the dial. I’m a little bitch like that.

Have plenty of quartz watches but couldn’t help order or so cool and faithful to the OG. Glad it’s 42 and not some tiny 36-38 diver

I have attempted to buy, barter and steal it, all to no avail.
