La Joux Perret. High end movement manufacturer part of of the group of brands like Arnold & Son for whom they make the mvt. I think LJP in fact owns A&S and a company that makes their own movement parts. Also Alpina on lower end.

They wear great, and that was the best thing about them. Great case shape and it just sits well on the wrist. Does not feel thick at all.
I loved my military but it ended up going back to the person I got it from because of a lug hole issue. I’ve thought about getting another down the road because how nice it was for the price and I just loved the style.
I do think this Poseidon would look better all black case- but this is still a great looking watch. The movement seems cool too. Very tempting.

Thinking how this would look on bracelet, there is of course the mesh and BOR options.

https://suppaparts.com/Beads-of-Rice-bracelet.php

But I was looking at this bracelet for my Tag super pro as I am one link short of it fitting my wrist. I think this style would look good on the Poseidon case as well:

I came here for some peer pressure. I guess I am in, but I agree that these would be better with a dlc case, which I suspect will come at a later date.

I dig it a lot and it’s great value for the money. I didn’t buy one because as much as I like it, I like my DLC Military more (mostly because it’s a faithful tribute to the original Doxa Army) and I don’t need two very similar watches.

IMO these look really good. Ordered one last Friday when I saw it posted on FB by FlyingDoctor (Peter) before the emails came out, (yes, I got 4 emails too from Synchron). I like the Ploprof hands and the Poseidon logo. I'm hoping there is enough contrast between the yellow minute hand and the light gray dial. Shipping is supposed to start mid / late February. Photos when it arrives.

Thank goodness.

Don’t worry to all those who missed out. Maranez will have their version released in a few days.

I had to restrain myself from ordering. I would get it and then sell it within a few weeks (days?)

I was counting on it. I’ll probably grab one that shakes loose here in a few months.

FWIW, I think you can still place an order even though they are technically sold out. Synchron is accepting a handful more orders in anticipation of future cancellations.
