WRUW Friday 3 Feb 23
Very amazing watch for the money. Crazy to think these were $300ish new. Runs great and wears super comfortable. Happy to have this one in my box. I’ve thought about selling it and moving up in price to an Oris/Sinn/Tudor - but then I wear it and say “how much better can those others be for the extra money?”

I bought a cheap watch from a crazy man
Floating down canal
It doesn't use numbers or moving hands
It always just says now
Now you may be thinking that I was had

Stop thinking rationally in this completely irrational hobby of ours. Of course you need to go up! And I guarantee it wont haunt you at all. Nope Never will haunt you.Wario406 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 03, 2023 7:30 am

Well until we all keep showing what trading up looks like, and then it is daily torture.

While there is nothing wrong with that Seiko, you would find the Tudor Ranger to be a spectacular watch. Buy it on the bracelet.Wario406 wrote:

I’ve owned the Explorer several times and love it, but always felt it was “too nice” and too expensive to wear without worry. The current Ranger, being the spiritual successor to the original Explorer, wears well and looks great. The T-fit clasp is great and I never worry when wearing it.
I tried natos, which was my original plan, but the bracelet just works so well it’s never coming off.
