Finally got the water feature cleaned out and started up today. Wearing the Laco now.

Phoibos/Islander collaboration Reef Master. Very cool piece, except I was not able to resize the bracelet, because they used industrial strength Loctite, on the screw threads. I was able to remove some links, after trying every trick in the book, but not enough to make it small enough to fit me.

Looks great! We’ve got to get some guys out to take a look at ours. It’s leaking over the lining in the upper part and we’re wasting a good amount of water keeping it running right now. But we have a whole community of critters who have come to rely on it. It’s “the place to be” to quote frank costanza.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thanks. We initially built it in 2005. Had leaks in the liner 3 times. Each drop in the creek is built on cinder blocks and while they are covered in dirt, the cinder blocks would get exposed again over time and cut the liner. I have a friend in the nuclear waste packaging business who has a puncture proof felt-type material and he sent me scraps to put down under the liner and we haven’t had any liner leaks since. I have had to place some rocks in the creek to divert the flow to keep water from splashing out as the creek turns.ezcheese wrote:Looks great! We’ve got to get some guys out to take a look at ours.
