What can I say, not making excuses (new pictures added)

2010 is nearly over, but not yet!

A rough count results in 15 watches purchased over the course of the year,
many of those flipped.

I consider myself a Junior Wu.

Some were sold because they were just not meeting expectations and a few were sold to raise money
to make other watch purchases and to buy an occasional food item.

In the selling frenzy, the pair was broken up.

I had sold the DA-36 back to Derek.

The watch has been missed...

a little more each day since the sale.

Took care of that issue about 30 minutes ago and bought another DA-36.

Now Derek and I can each have one, at the same time!

I am almost embarrassed to say how many times I have bought/sold/rebought the same model..........and sometimes the exact watch that I sold.

You know you are a true WIS when you sell someone a watch........immediately start missing it and either by another new one or buy the same watch back after it has been passed around the forum......and pay exactly or slightly more to get it back. Hopeless.

No excuses needed. I have done it and have one or two that might come back some day.

Some say that twice was not enough and did it a third time.

Right now, I only have a few watches so they all get love and wrist time. If/when I add a few more I'm sure I'll join in the flipping fun.

There's no shame in admitting that you made a mistake and then going out and fixing it, Matt. Hell, I'm guilty of doing the same with my SEAL, and while I don't wear it as often as I used to, it never fails to put a smile on my face when I pull it out of the watch box. Anyway, that's a great set you have there -- much like a pair of boobs (or balls

) they belong together.

Well the "new" Damasko arrived today.

I was hunting around the strap box for some spring bars since I did not want to force the
spring bars out of the Damasko strap (they are pretty snug in there).

I found an inexpensive brown strap that I have not worn in a long while and am giving it
a test run. It's not ideal, but I like the contrast between the brown strap and black dial.

Eventually, I may move the ammo strap from the DA-37 on it.

In any case, it's good to have a DA-36 again.
