Vulcain service

Post by Henryj » Tue Aug 22, 2023 4:59 am

I have a mid 70s Vulcain, nothing special but with some memories attached. I’ve had it since new and it’s never been serviced. Who would I send it to? Needs a new domed acrylic crystal, new crown, and movement service.

Are those attached memories “special”?

Sorta necro-threading myself, because I haven’t done anything yet. Would Jack also be the guy for this Omega? Late stepfather’s watch, appears to be all gold. Edit to add: “14k Gold Filled” between the lugs.

Sent the Vulcain off to Jack about 3 1/2 weeks ago. He emailed today and it’s on its way back. Serviced, new crown and crystal, paint on the hands stabilized. Reasonable price and quick turnaround. I’m impressed.
