Mine is scheduled to land on Halloween can’t wait to see it. I love that case design.
I went with the Auto as I have lots of quartz and will never get the battery changed if I keep it. I have four quartz watches that aren’t running currently
But I do like that it’s no date

Me too. Quartz no date to arrive 10/31. Mine will be for sale as I don’t need it with two CWC in the box.

Shipping Delay Mail Incoming this morning ! :raised:

Earliest shipping date for my order is the 2nd Nov.
Reason is the lack of the black Tropic strap.

I should get it on the 30th, curious to see how it looks in the flesh.
For $200 it was definitely worth a shot, the downside is very limited

I really dig the meca version! Always wondered why we don't see more watches with a similar movement. Battery life I guess?

Got it today.
Definitely better finished VS the momentum sea quartz, but probably coming from the same factory.
Everything seems a bit better though.

Don’t know if I’ll keep it, but it’s certainly worth more than $200

That looks pretty good. I like the case design and bracelet. Hopefully they will have more quartz available. Great grab and go but also gave a few quartz watches to my 18 year old son who doesn't have the mindset to to wind or set watches yet but hoping the hobby sticks.

Yes the case is lovely, it’s the only 42mm I can wear without feeling like a clown.
There are nice touches in the packaging as well:
It comes in a cheap (but very nice) pouch, and they added a key chain and a sticker.

Overall for the price this is incredibly well executed.

Looks awesome. I miss my 844/5. That case and bracelet are classic.

Can confirm it’s much better executed than the Momentum
Please don’t expect a Rolex, but for the price it’s a VERY good watch (opinion after 1 day of wear).

I rate it:
Case design 9/10 (quartz lies nicely flat on wrist, even has some cutouts for thicker straps. No drilled lug holes therefore -1. Nice interplay of brushed and polished edges gives it a retro vibe. Retro numerals on aluminium bezel insert.
Bezel action 8/10 really firm bezel action, nice clicky sound, some backplay.
Lume 7/10 nothing special but also nothing non-special.
Hands just good and sharply cut. Mecaquartz doing its thing. Prints on the dial sharp and nice. Alignment perfect.
Overall: 8/10 and a steal for the price!

my automatic on a green tropics strap arrived today. everything a seiko ain't: meaning NO misalignments, and an ACCURATE rendition of the original style, unlike seiko's reeditions consistently being weirdly off, not in any good way, but looking distorted (thinking of the apocalypse now watch and poor proportioned redos of the 62mas.)

this piece with it's perfect looking and working bezel, its classically 1mm raised crystal and xlnt lume is a joy to have on my wrist...and i've owned rolex subs and hosts of Swiss divers, as well as seikos.

the pix are super accurate as to the beauty of this piece, so i'll not post another. in fact i don't want to take it off.

Thera are pins. It was easy. There is an arrow on the back of each link marking the direction of push. I used very cheap screw-in pin remover with bracelet holder.
