Here We Go Again
I posted pics of my newly arrived lumen Rescue Timer the other day.
Still haven't sized the strap, not afraid, just been busy.
Ben commented that he really liked the way these look and would love to try one out.
I reached out to him and am sending him the black dial on bracelet for a test run.
This is the watch:
Driving back from FedEx, I decided as long as it's out, might as well see if there is interest in another DWC
pass-around like we did with the Seiko GMT.
That went well, took about four months, start to finish, and everyone involved was great in keeping me posted
and keeping the person next in line aware of things.
There are some differences this time around.
This is a more expensive watch and I need it adequately insured when shipping; $2300 works fine.
So, the shipping cost is also more expensive.
If you don't have a shipping service, USPS priority, insured runs about $63.
If you don't have a shipping service, I can email you necessary scan for shipping through IFS, and you can just pay me.
This method has special requirements including FedEx only, drop-off at FedEx in person and unused double boxes/double labels.
I used IFS to send it to Ben, cost about $42 for 2nd day delivery.
One other difference this time around.
The Seiko had drilled lugs and I had no problem people swapping straps out. The Rescue Timer requires two screwdrivers and the case is apparently fairly easy to scratch up (tape not allowed). So if you want in, I respectfully ask you to keep it on the bracelet.
That being said, I have no problem with people removing/adding links to get a good fit.
Finally, I appreciate everything going through me.
PM if you're interested; include a mailing address, phone number and email address.
I'll generate a list for me to work from and give a timely heads-up for where the watch goes next.
I would say about a week is a reasonable time to hold on to the watch.
The pass around is "restricted" to long time, active members who have not dated my wife.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Such a great size. Sits perfect on the wrist with the lug hoods.

Great shots, Ben.
Interesting that the SAR Timer and U50 look just about the same size.
However, I felt the U50 wore small for me, but not the MG.

Re: Here We Go Again
Ben's getting ready to send the MG along to the next person.
As it stands right now, it then comes back to me.
I'm fine with that, but will give the post a bump in case someone missed it and wants in.
