I dig a lume dial. The closest I've had is an Indiglo 30 yrs back, I loved that feature though. What yr is that? It doesn't look 35mm, sure looks dated though.

I owned a orange, blue, and if I recall a green version of this model. Such and great watch, but that plastic bezel got chewed up easily. It was one of my first intro's into the watch game besides my Freestyle/Casio watches.

I had one of those with a red dial back in the day, loved that thing.

It definitely is a blast from the past. Remember the day I got it, and thought wow. TAG HEUER. Wore it for years, trading off between my original 6309 I got in 1983, and a few years later the tag. I always wished it was a little larger, but those were the days when this was considered big. I also remember cutting the strap to size!

Battery changed. Started right up like the day I got it. Crystal all scratched. Bezel paint gone. New cheap strap. Still fun to wear. Still wish it was a little larger. They would sell a ton of these today at 38-40.

What’s old is new again right?!

It still looks 100 or more years ahead of it’s time sir. And the size
looks fine from here. Honestly, smaller watches really aren’t that
much smaller when you stop and think about it.

If 40mm is the average, then 5 millimeters less really isn’t that much
of a difference. Plus the crown, but also bezel make it look bigger, as
well as huskier too.

A friend, not a wis, recently bought a Tag while on a cruise ship. His inspiration was “back in the day” when he wouldn’t afford one.

The only 80’s watch I recall is a gold tone Turtle. My friend was a massive guy so it fit well. He was military and picked it up in Germany, I think. It and was amazing, and rare.
