Nice, should be fun. Though, assuming you are going to Quail Hollow, its not the Wells Fargo (that was another tournament that was also at Quail Hollow in 2024 though Truist Financial will be taking that over there in 2026), it's one of the PGA's major championships (not confusingly called "The PGA Championship"). Sorry, golf nut here.

I’ve been updating Hop with thoughts…
I’ve been wanting something vintage-y.
I loved my Doxa 300 Sharkhunter I bought new 7 years ago and recently realized I’ll never get one again since limited and prices so high.

I saw Hops Doxa 200 and was tempted. But then Topper had this for very reasonable price so had to try.

Dial is beautiful. Love the lume plots. Silver hands look great especially when light hits them. For some reason I love the plain no lume seconds hand. Best part is the comfort. Big dial does not make it look 38mm watch. Sits very low on wrist. Keeping great time so far. Nice crown. Bezel very crisp and does not move unless you want it to.

Niggles/ no lume on bezel pip. Lume on hands very light compared to dial. If love to try the Vulcain bracelet but pricey.

I have an uncle seiko in the mail with endlinks that should fit. This actually feels great, it’s for my Sinn 356 but as you can see endlinks too tall.

Overall I really like it. And I go into every watch purchase trying to find a reason to not like.

Edit… I guess this was 2016 so longer than 7 years!

This one doesn't come out to play much, but it's a Bremont Project Possible. Yes, it was a silly amount of money but they were ballsy enough to sponsor a guy to do what seemed impossible, and shatter a Himalayan climbing record from 7 years to 7 months. The Netflix special on it is really good.
