That’s it. It was very nicely finished.

Looks like a replica 1956 Ferrari/Kurtis Kraft Bardahl Special. Not really a replica but maybe a homage, lol. "Inspired by"

I don't think any expense was spared.

Not surprising in this neighborhood.

If no expense was spared, they would’ve put a Hayabusa motor in that thing and bumped the HP up to about 175 and the torque to about 100 lb-ft. That little skateboard would’ve screamed.

My memories of hours and hours of Gran Turismo gameplay are rushing back upon seeing that photo.

Both Series and Defenders were available legally in the States until 1997 (known as NAS - North American Specification)

The issue (as I understand it) is you may potentially purchase a vehicle that was previously illegally imported and get hung up later. The article links to stories where people who thought they had bought vintage Land Rovers had their vehicles seized.
For me, if I wanted a vintage 4X4, unless I knew a very reputable seller, I’d probably stick with a Bronco, Blazer, or Scout.

Wow that's a block from the fastpass entrance to 110 S that I was using this summer. Right by USC and the Exposition Center.
