....The good news is water at that pressure crushes you so fast the nerve impulses don’t reach the brain so you never even know it happened.
Humans are essentially bags of water and virtually non-compressible in water. The reason you wouldn't survive at extreme depths like these is it's not possible to have a gas breathing system that can work with our biology in those conditions.
Lol bags of water except for the airways and part of the digestive system. There goes the face, neck, chest, gut. Oh and then there's the shrapnel from the viewing port. And the walls caving in.
Clearly, shrapnel has nothing to do with the direct effects of water pressure on bodies.
There have been efforts to use liquid based oxygen transport systems for deep water breathing. It looks like it could work except the effort required for the lungs to move liquids is way too high for a person to feel comfortable breathing with it. If that worked we would otherwise be able to cope at extreme depths.
probably a distraction so people wouldn't see the 6.1 Billion unaccounted for that went to Ukraine
I think it’s a stretch to suggest that the Illuminati would “poof” two billionaires and their spawn, an iconic historian and true adventurer, and a useless woke prick as a distraction- but, I appreciate the way you think.
Put it past a country that murdered their own president (JFK) to protect the military industrial complex?
Video from the a guy that was on the May 2023 expedition that didn’t dive due to various issues (surprise, surprise). I found this very fascinating as it’s documenting life on the ship and the day to day. Dude dodged a bullet since the next time it went down, shit happened.
And because I’m sure we are all curious, PH Nargeolet wearing what looks like an Omega PO 8900.
The more that comes out about this guy and company, the more (tragically) comical it becomes.
The BBC did a doc on the 2021 expedition that keeps getting pulled down from YT for what I assume are incriminating reasons, but it can still be found in certain places. On that particular dive they made it to the floor but one of the thrusters was installed backwards when they replaced it a day earlier and they were just going around in a circle. So after a brief panic the instructions (via text message) from the support ship was to just hold the controller upside down. Wasn’t even the only issue. Truly amateur hour.
he WAS a fuck face. Too bad he took innocent others with him to his stupid end. The "I dont need to be an engineer to build an extreme environment vehicle" is just the top of the heap of jackassidry.
It is better to know how to learn than to know.
Dr. Seuss
Thanks for the txt link. I followed the saga, but looking back I'm surprised how much traction the story got. What did the world miss when they were counting hours of oxygen supply?
