Can't say I've seen more than one or two at most here in Beach Cities SoCal area. I assume that's the four leaf clover Quattrofromagio version? Pretty wicked.

Love my Stelvio! I put in a chip and pedal booster,.
I smile every time I drive it!
With winter tires and cargo box on the roof, it makes for an amazing drive up I 70 to the hills for boarding,. And great for summer cruising.
Funnest car I have had since my 79 Alfa spider!

Both Eric's and mine are the 4cyl.
280 hp stock (mine sits about 310 - 320 chipped.
Quick, handles amazing, good gas mileage, (well, nor the way I drive it), 0-60 in just under 5 sec. Too speed about 147...
Sexy as hell,... Yeah, I love it!

What’s the mpg in the city? The downside of my Acura RDX is struggling to get 14 mpg city driving.DoctorC wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 8:59 pmBoth Eric's and mine are the 4cyl.

With mainly city driving, and quite spirited driving, I average around 18 - 19 mpg.HapaHapa wrote: ↑Wed Jan 20, 2021 4:35 amWhat’s the mpg in the city? The downside of my Acura RDX is struggling to get 14 mpg city driving.DoctorC wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 8:59 pmBoth Eric's and mine are the 4cyl.

Cool Stelvio!!!!
Re: 2021 Ford Bronco Release - 7/13
Ditto! That Trofeo white is so amazing in person.
The way the color changes in the light, pictures don't do it justice.

Re: 2021 Ford Bronco Release - 7/13
thx dude, i was going back and forth between Red, and the 2 white options...I went Trofeo as in person the metal flake looks amazing and white seems to show off all the black vents etc in the grill much better to my eye.. Never thought i would buy a white car but that front end and the red interior cinched it for me.....Hell id happily own any of the colors honestly.....not a dog in the bunch
Re: 2021 Ford Bronco Release - 7/13
Yep. Based on instantaneous mileage display in the Acura (like a bar chart), its probably very low single digits when you punch it.ericf4 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 7:00 amThe MPG? I've heard the Infiniti G35 would get similar 13 mpg city driving. It was probably 2007 I heard that comment. Might be better now. I'm glad your rocket gets better city mpg, because i find it really odd that both of our 2008 Acura RDX's get the same mileage as my 1987 Mazda RX-7 did (both city and highway).
Wish i still had that RX-7.

otherwise known as the only "bronco" you can actually buy currently...

I can’t believe they put a 3-banger in most of the Bronco Sport models.

Re: 2021 Ford Bronco Release - 7/13
Because these sport models are a completely different demographic. First off, they are very small. So if you want good gas mileage in a vehicle that looks miles better than an escape, that’s what it’s for.CGSshorty wrote:I can’t believe they put a 3-banger in most of the Bronco Sport models.
If you go fully loaded and you’re idea of off-roading is a drive through the country or you want a little more oomph, you get the 4 cylinder 250hp to do those windy country roads at some decent speed.
But honestly, 180hp in the 3 for how small it is, it really won’t be sluggish.
The full size bronco is the real off roader.

A $30-35k vehicle should not have a three cylinder engine, no matter who the target market is.

I agree, but I just helped a friend buy a 2020 Escape for her son and the 3-cyl turbo is a pretty peppy & smooth engine. I’d drive one as a daily. Then again, we picked up her 2020 SE AWD for $21k.CGSshorty wrote:A $30-35k vehicle should not have a three cylinder engine, no matter who the target market is.

I can’t believe MPG creeped into this thread. Honestly- who here actually cares about that...?

Re: 2021 Ford Bronco Release - 7/13
my point indeed....ive not asked about MPG for the last 5 cars ive had ill bet...lol.....i drive, i need a car, i like a cool car, its MPG doesnt factor in at all......Maybe it should???

Re: 2021 Ford Bronco Release - 7/13
Can I join?

I certainly have mixed feelings on it. It’s been a “meh” vehicle for me. Fun to drive but I have had some issues and maintenance costs have not been great. It’s fun in the twisted roads and has nice power but it’s too small and tight for any long drives IMO. Last dealership bill at the 24month maintenance was just under $1k with the oil change. My next vehicle will be a tundra with plenty of room and low maintenance...

If I were after a sporty SUV, it would be the Jaguar. That exhaust note is intoxicating.
